Cup Stand

A high footed stand for a teacup, made from a dark copper alloy, and possibly dipped in a brass or yellow metal gilt. The lip is deep and decorated with repoussé motifs that create an eight petal lotus, in each petal is a symbol of the Eight Immortals.
