Coin of Ptolemy I Soter ('Ptolemy the Savior'); Born c. 367 BC , died 282 BC; Became king of Egypt c.305 or 306 BC. Mint: Alexandria Obverse: head of Ammon turned to the right with taenia and a dotted border around; Reverse an eagle turned to the left standing on thunderbolt. There is no obverse inscription, however the reverse one is not legible.
