Coin of Ptolemy I Soter (the Savior); Born c. 367 BC, died 282 BC; Became king of Egypt c.305 or 306 BC Mint: most likely Alexandria Οbverse: diademed head of Ptolemy I turned to the right, with aegis, dotted border. Reverse: eagle with closed wings standing left on thunderbolt may be surrounded by dotted border.
