Coin of Ptolemy VIII, the Euergetes (Benefactor), reigned from 181/180 BC to 145 BC Mint: Cyprus - Kitio. Obverse: diademed head of Ptolemy the I, turned to the right. Reverse: eagle standing on thunderbolt, turned to the left, letters LΛΓ to the left that is 33 year of reign, 148 BC, mint letters ΚΙ for Kitio to the right. Legend all around: ΠΤΟΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ
