Coin of Ptolemy III Obverse: head of Ammon turned to the right, dotted border; Reverse: eagle with closed wings (?) standing left on thunderbolt, head reverted, dotted border around can be seen. There is no obverse inscription, however the reverse inscription reads: [ΠΤΟΛΕ]ΜΑΙΟΥ [ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ]. In 1944 the museum acquired 7 Ptolemaic coins that were given the accession number 44.19.75 but so far only this one coin can be traced.
