Cylindrical beaker

Cylindrical beaker with spreading mouth and base, and flattened cover, which belongs to a set of five (with three jars, LL 80, LL 81 & LL 82; and two beakers, LL 83 & LL 84), painted in brilliant blue. The major decoration consists of two panels with rockery and flowering plants and baskets of flowers; an upright band of quatrefoil pattern reserved in white in a blue ground between. Above and below, two ju-i (ruyi ''as-you-wish'') shaped panels with formal lotus flowers and foliage, and two leaf-shaped panels enclosing leaf symbols. Vandyke borders. Cover of the beaker to match body pattern.
