Cymbals

Pair of cymbals with pierced bosses. One is very damaged with the central part missing. CONDITION NOTE 1998: One piece in two parts, small fragments. For a parallel see Flinders Petrie, 'Objects of Daily Use' (London, 1927), pl. L (nos. 306-7); p. 58, found in a Roman Period tomb within a mound east of Naukratis.
