Dancing Maiden (Bacchante)

A full length figure drawing in black chalk of a Bacchante, or a pristess. She is scantily dressed except with strips of flowing cloth. She is in motion towards the right of the canvas, with her head turned to face the front and her right leg slightly bent towards back with her toes in a pointe position. She is holding in her left arm a lyre, half hidden by her torso. Her right arm is aloft, holding a piece of cloth that forms part of her dress.
