Dasypeltis atra Sternfeld, 1912

Small snake with bullet-shaped head. Several colour forms exist, may be black above and below others may be uniform red-brown, red or pink, paler below, others may be uniform brown or brown with darker blotches along the middle of the back. Length up to 110 cm.
