Date Amulet

Blue glazed date amulet. Loops at top and bottom, top of the date and top loop in slightly lighter blue. Glued to card by Flaxman Spurrell with other amulets and beads excavated by Flinders Petrie at Tell el Amarna in 1892 to illustrate jewellery types. Annotated in red "TELL EL AMARNA. D.XVIII.
