Demotic Ostracon

Pottery sherd (ostracon) with trace of seven lines of a demotic text written on one side. Miss Tankard's notes (1956) mention the provenance being "Pselkis, Nubia" but states that an ink note says "Dakkeh Nubia" Annotated in black ink at the bottom, "ARABIC?". CONDITION NOTE 1998: Chipped surface, residue on surface , surface dirt,labels adhered to surface.
