Flint tool marked "1400' ABOVE THE NILE F.C.J.S". Levallois type tool likely made during the Middle Paleolithic Period, about 240,000–40,000 BC. Surface dirt, some pitting, remnants of old label and adhesive. Collected by W. M. F. Petrie in the al-Marashda region during the winter of 1893-4 for the Egyptian Research Account. See Petrie, W. M.
