Disc of very thin copper (lid?). Very thin section with large areas of loss around the edge. Has previously been described as a personal mirror but extremely thin section and no sign of a tang. 

From the Egypt Exploration Society 1926 excavations at Abydos grave 617: a disturbed burial containing "a muddle of bones of five people". Given to the East Anglia Egyptian Society in return for their subscription.

CONDITION NOTE 1998: Adhesive on surface, white residue, worn and holed.  Tang is corroded with area of fresh corrsion.
