Egyptian alabaster shallow dish. Marked on the back in pencil: "Rustafjaell Sale 4 vases lot 172". Marked in pencil 199/4. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Running crack, surface dirt. Danson Catalogue 2 no. 269. Sold at Sotheby's, London, 20 - 24 January 1913 (Robert de Rustafjaell sale) Lot 172/4: "Three small circular Dishes, two of finely veined stone, 4 3/4 in. and 5 in. diameter; another, larger, but in more opaque stone (PI.
