Dish with stand

Dish, one of a pair (to LL 6570), sauce-shaped, with sides moulded in eight lobes, painted in famille verte enamels. In the centre a mirror-shaped design, inset with plum blossoms in a dotted green ground, and bordered with ju-i heads in yellow and aubergine. On the sides, vases on stands alternating with panels of powder-blue with gilt floral sprays. Mark, lozenge symbol with four dots at the points. Engraved mark of the Dresden Collection of Augustus the Strong, N=35 and a cross.
