Wooden carving of a djed hierogylph, a symbol of the god Osiris and a hieroglyphic sign which means ‘enduring’, ‘stable’ and similar concepts. Would have decorated an iitem such as a box. Traces of resin on the surface. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Previous repair, surface loss, scratched, some surface residue, surface dirt.
