Dress and Personal Accessories; Buckle plate
A medieval copper alloy folded sub-rectangular buckle plate with intact integral rivet. At the folded end is a hole which would have held the missing pin. It is decorated with a simple rectangular field with a central lozenge. Found on the shore at Meols. Meols catalogue number 816, (Griffiths, D; Philpott, R; Egan, G, 2007).
