Dress and Personal Accessories; Pin

A complete copper alloy disc-headed pin with a circular perforation. Similar pins are known from the Irish sea region and Northumbria. The pin probably dates to the 9th-10th centuries. The pin was found on the shore at Meols. Meols catalogue number 346 (Griffiths, D; Philpott, R; Egan, G, 2007).
