Dress and Personal Accessories; Pin

A complete copper alloy dress pin with a globular head. The pin is decorated with a collar at the neck and the shaft expands slightly. The expanded collar below the head of the pin indicates an early medieval date. Found on the shore at Meols. Meols catalogue number 364 (Griffiths, D; Philpott, R; Egan, G, 2007)
