Four very small plaques of sheet gold, two round and two rectangular with rounded corners, either appliqués from a piece of jewelry, such as a hair spiral, or once sewn onto a cloth backing. All have rope-pattern borders of twisted wire; the rectangular plaques have tiny holes in all four corners for attachment with thread. The round plaques have loops on the back made from the sheet gold (and now flattened)
