Drinking vessel of the type known as a band cup, the foot broken from the body. Decorated in the black figure technique with a swan flanked by 2 male figures, flanked by birds and 2 more male figures. Band cups are normally decorated with combinations of cloaked youths and animals It has been speculated that this vessel might have been made in an Athenian workshop in imitation of a Corinthian vessel.
