Drinking Vessel

Bucchero kantharos (high-handled drinking vessel), one handle not present. This vessel is made from 'bucchero pesante', a late variety of bucchero. Part of a group of antiquities purchased by Sir Henry Wellcome from Evangelista Gorga of Rome, circa January 1924.
