Ear Ornament

Penannular earring with a narrow opening. The identification of this type of ring is still uncertain but they were probably worn as ear or hair ornaments. Wellcome Historical Medical Museum accession no. 24659: Quantity of broken glass rings of various colours. In box 9" x 4".
