Wire loop with pendant hollow balls. Compare with W. M. Flinders Petrie, 'Objects of Daily Use' (London, 1927) pl. X no. 239 described as "[Roman earrings]. Brass. Balls stamped out as two joined cups, and then bent up, with wavy edges which overlap. vth or vith cent.?" (p. 14). CONDITION NOTE 1998: Split, corroded, white corrosion products?
