Earring

These earrings are made from blue jasper with applied white jasper decoration called sprigging. The decoration on LL 2259, shown here on the left of the image, depicts Ganymede and the eagle. The simple hooks are made from gold. The other earring in the pair is LL 2258, shown here on the right, which has decoration depicting the four Muses.
