Information

Small snake with pear-shaped head and thin neck. Colour and pattern variable, upperparts may be yellowish, brown or grey usually with oblique crossbars separated by dark spaces, flanks often have row of triangular or circular dark markings with pale or white edging. Belly pale usually with brown or reddish spots. Length up to 70 cm.
