The Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau from the Wengernalp

This drawing is a study for a Liverpool Autumn Exhibition catalogue illustration. The finished watercolour version of the picture was exhibited at the Old Water Colour Society Summer exhibition in 1893 and appeared in the catalogue entitled 'The Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau'. It depicts a scene from the Wengernalp, an alpine meadow located between Wengen and Kleine Scheidegg in the Swiss Alps.
