Embroidered Message Bag

A tubular bag of navy blue broadcloth, heavily embroidered with a series of diamond designs, in pinks, greens, yellows, purples and whites. The bag is strengthened at the base with bands of leather and the opening is finished with several layers of silk in yellow, blue, red and green which are edged with contrasting piping. Attached to the back of the bag are two tablet woven woollen straps in a diamond pattern of yellows, blues and pinks.
