Emmer Grain

Grains of emmer, Triticum dicocum. Collected at Hawara by W. M. Flinders Petrie, 1889. Kept within a glass test tube with cork stopper. Annotation in black in on a piece of paper kept inside the tube by Percy Newberry: "Hawara Roman Wheat". CONDITION NOTE 1998: Some damaged, surface dirt. Dimensions are for the container.
