Comptoirs Henri Dupuy was one of many photographic firms operating in Western Africa during the early 20th century that created ethnographic postcards for the colonial European tourist and expat markets. From the collection of William John Roberts, Liverpool-born merchant for The Lagos Stores, Ltd. Based in Nigeria, 1912-1914.
