This is one of a group of drawings by British artist and book illustrator Edward Francis Burney, depicting scenes from Greek and Roman history and mythology. Emperor Constantinus reunited the east and west sides of the Roman Empire. He moved the capital away from Rome, building a new capital named after himself, Constantinople.
