The Ewe Lamb

Robert Little was born in Greenock, near Glasgow and when young he travelled to France, Spain and the Mediterranean. His father was a ship-owner. He studied at the Royal School of Art schools and in Rome and Paris. He was elected to the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolours (RSW) in 1886, an Associate of the Royal Society of Painters in Watercolours (RWS) in 1892 and a full member of the RWS in 1899. He was Vice-President of the RWS from 1913 to 1916.
