The Extensive Biography of Milarepa: The Hundred Thousand Songs

A block printed Tibetan manuscript or pecha. A copy of the extensive biography of Milarepa. The manuscript contains 192 folios and there are line drawings of Mi la ras pa on the left and Dvags po pa on the right of folio 1. The manuscript is stored with 50.31.107b, with two wooden book covers painted with a red pigment on the outer side and green on the inside, the top cover decorated with gold swirling foliage and flowers. This is secured with a tablet woven tie in very faded reds, yellows, greens, blues and white. There is a separate copy of this manuscript, described as a better copy secured with the same tablet woven ties and a cloth label.
