Amulet in the shape of an eye. White with a black dot to mark the iris. Back is stained. Perhaps an artificial eye placed over the orbit of a mummified individual. Previously recorded as a flower petal inlay from Tell el Yahudiya. Given to the East Anglia Egyptian Society in November 1925 by the Egypt Exploration Society from 'old stock' in return for their subscription. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Chipped, discoloured/blackened.
