Carved wooden figure in the form of a mummified falcon. Wellcome Historical Medical Museum accession no. 43985: HAWK, Ka Wood, carved and painted, the soul of deceased person. 7½" X 4½" X 2½" Egyptian. Purchased at Stevens, London, 5 October 1920 Lot 251 CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, part of foot detaching, surface paint flaking and cracking, worn, surface dirt.
