Female figurine votive offering

Votive offering of the type of a long skirted female, facing to her right, from the Sanctuary of Artemis Orthia in Sparta. She is either from the Phase 1 or 2 of the lead votive offerings associated with the Sanctuary. Her skirt has a cross hatched design and the part of the arms preserved suggest that she was holding something which is now lost, this may have been a shield. This would suggest that the figure could be a representation of Athena.
