Small bust with face painted yellow/red and black for the wig. Base is also painted black indicating this is not broken from a figure (ancestor worship?). Soft grey stone or fired clay. From 1930/31 excavations at Amarna, find number 30/233, house T.36.59 "head of a woman in bad painted limestone". Donated to the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum by the Egypt Exploration Society in return for an excavation subscription.
