Figure of a divinity, 'Shangdi', seated, with screen at his back. His right hand and right knee are raised, and under his right foot are a tortoise and snake. Rectangular base with moulded sides and four lion masks in relief. Porcelain with coloured glazes - dark violet-blue, turquoise, and yellow. The flesh parts are in unglazed biscuit. The predominant colour is dark blue. Base unglazed and burnt reddish brown.
