Figure of a King (facsimile)

Facsimile of an ivory figure of a pharaoh as a sphinx crushing the head of a captive. Excavated at Abydos (tomb 477) by Prof. John Garstang and the orginal is now in the British Museum (no. EA54678). Marked on the base NEOS (Greek for 'new'). There are three casts of this object in World Museum's collection.
