Figure of a lion

Figure of a lion seated on a rectangular plinth. The ball of brocade is missing from the fore-paw. Richly enamelled on the biscuit. The body is mottled aubergine and brownish yellow, and the hair green, yellow, aubergine, and violet-blue. Touches of red on the mouth and nose, and on the forehead is the character 'wang' (prince). The plinth is decorated with brocade patterns in which are leaf- and fan-shaped panels of flowering plants.
