Figure of a lion, one of a pair (to LL 6661), seated on rectangular plinths; one has a ball of brocade revolving on a spindle under his fore-paw, and the other a cub; the eyes movable. Porcelain, richly enamelled on the biscuit with the usual colours. The body is green and the hair picked out with yellow, aubergine, and black. On the forehead is a medallion with the character 'Wang' (King). The brocade ball is moulded with designs in low relief. On the plinth are brocade patterns; and two of the sides are pierced with a ju-i (ruyi ''as-you-wish'') shaped opening.
