Figure of a Man
16.11.06.309
Information
Fragment of a figure of a man wearing a pleated kilt. The legs, now broken off above the knee, were shown as if striding forward. The head, now missing, was made separately either of stone or another material, and two dowel holes were drilled in the neck to receive it. The back pillar bore a dedication but is almost completely worn away, with only trace of the name Ptah at the top of the column.
Accession register indicates this was from tomb 256E (also appears in the excavation records for this tomb). However, by error it was published by Dr Dorothy Downes as being from tomb 190E.
