Figure of a Man
Portion of a carved figure of a man standing with left leg striding forwards. Left arm hangs down at his side with the front of the hand facing forwards. The head, right arm and lower part of the legs and feet are missing. He wears a kilt projecting in front with a vertical inscription of carved hieroglyphs. The upper body is naked and the torso is well carved with finely detailed muscle definition. On his left arm he wears bracelets at the top and round the wrist. The inscription reads: A boon which the king gives (to) Osiris, the good god ruling forever, may he give everything (good and pure) to the Ka of Twjr. Hand copy of the inscription on the Newberry-Peet record card.
