Figure of Shou Lao

Figure of Shou Lao, seated on the back of a deer, his right hand resting on its head; porcelain; his robe is painted a bright turquoise blue, his face and hands left in the plain biscuit; in his left hand he holds a ju-i (ruyi ''as-you-wish'') emblem, and at his feet are small figures of a tortoise and crane on a modelled rockwork base, coloured turquoise.
