Figured Ostracon

Fragment of limestone with flat side decorated with a faint black ink sketch of appears to be a ram. On the back a label stuck to the surface with printed text,"R. G. Gayer-Anderson Loan Collection, 1917" and annotation in ink, "S.28". Stone is marked in ink, "LUXOR". CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, labels adhered to base, worn, scratched, worn, running crack, surface dirt.
