Figures in a City Street

William Roscoe sold this drawing as by Parmigianino, suggested by the elongated figures, but later scholars have disputed this. It is now attributed to an unknown artist using elements of both Italian and Flemish style. It is relatively unusual in the Weld-Blundell collection in showing a street scene; the city or town has not been identified.
