Blue glazed faience finger ring with openwork ring bezel in form of an Eye of Horus (wedjat), a symbol which offered protection to the wearer. Shank missing. Collected by Flinders Petrie at Tell el-Amarna 1891-92 and the stuck to a sheet of card 120 x 165 mm with similar sized objects by Flaxman Spurrell annotated in red "TELL EL AMARNA. D.XVIII. Dug up by Petrie. F.C.J.S." Compare with Petrie, Tell el Amarna (1894), pl. XVI, 176.
