Bright blue glazed faience finger ring with an animal figure (lizard?) or poorly produced image of Hathor on the bezel. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Pitted, surface dirt, worn. Gatty Slip (1873): 7 porcelain finger rings with devices on the plates. Newberry's catalogue card (1910): Full blue glazed faience: bezel of ring a head. Length of bezel 0.008, Breadth of bezel 0.006. Dia. of ring 0.018. Ring thick. Technique: moulded and coarse. Period: XVIIIth or XIXth Dynasty.
