Heavy gilded bronze finger ring with inscribed oval bezel (the dimensions of the bezel are 20 x 14 mm). The inscription appears to read Nefer-kheperu-Ra Setep-[en]-Ra, the prenomen of Akhenaten (beautiful are the manifestations of Ra) followed by the epithet, chosen of Ra. It's also been pointed out that this was the name of one of Akhenaten's daughters. The ring was excavated in the east block of the magazines (R.41.5) between the Royal Estate and the Great Aten Temple in the Central City region of Tell el-Amarna during the 1932-3 excavations of the Egypt Exploration Society.
