Finger Ring

Finger ring with large bezel inscribed with the name of the owner, Hor-nakht. The bezel could be used to press into clay to seal documents. All of the hoop is now gone. This is one of seven rings sold as lot 1385 at the Rev. William MacGregor sale of 1922 at Sotheyby's, London. Wellcome Historical Medical Museum accession number 13647.
